Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get my music in a pack?
While the process of choosing which songs and artists are included in Panoplay packs varies depending on what type and quality of music has been submitted, there are a few requirements you must meet:
- You must own the rights to your music
- You must have the ability to grant us redistribution rights to the music you submit
- You must have digital copies of your music
Have you met all those? AWESOME! Fill out the form here to apply!
How do I download music?
Well, first you have to buy it! Assuming you've done that, go to your collection (or open the unique pack URL emailed to you if you purchased without an account).
Music file types
The default download format is MP3. If you want to listen on your phone, tablet, computer, or pretty much any other device, this is the option you'll want. The default option, MP3 v0, uses VBR (variable bitrate). If you're on a super duper (VERY) old device this might cause issues. If it does, such as the song not playing correctly, just download the MP3 320 version.
Other download options you have are:
- MP3 320
- Ogg Vorbis
Here's some nice reading if you want to learn more.Lossless
For those looking for lossless versions of songs, you're in luck! If you purchase a tier that grants you high quality and lossless downloads of all purchased tracks, then you can download any purchased song from that pack in FLAC format. What is lossless? Basically, it means the audio is compressed in (in our case) FLAC format without any loss in quality. Curious what devices will play FLAC files? Here ya go!
